2019 Grenache Noir | Estate Vineyard Russian River Valley

Usually planted in warmer locations, this particular Grenache was grown in the cooler climate of the Russian River Valley and results in a beautiful copper-hued ruby red wine with effusive aromas of strawberry, currant and forest floor. On the palate, savory and salty mushroom notes with a touch of leather, behind tart strawberry and currant. Medium body with moderate tannin, with white pepper and herbal notes on the tail.

Try with five spice barbecue pork belly, roast duck, lamb or mutton curry. Also works well with pasta bolognese and marinara.
