2021 Sonoma Hillsides Syrah | Sonoma County

Pours a deep burgundy tinged with carmine red. Very aromatic, almost floral on the nose, with aromas of purple fruit and black tea; think raspberries, cherry, blackberry and stem. Flavors of bright tart raspberries, blackberries and cherry, accompanied by moderate tannins of wood and leather, topped with light notes of pepper and spice. This entire olfactory edifice, perched as it were on a knife's edge, is a masterclass in harmony and balance; red vs black, tart vs tannic, bright vs earthy.

Try this with Korean barbecue, robatayaki, and satay. Also great with meat skewers and grilled flank or skirt steaks.
