This incredible take on the classic Rhône blend pours a dark burgundy red, tinted with purple around the edges. Perfect balance of red and black fruit aromas with earthy notes evokes raspberry, blackberry and cherry, with hints of clove. On the tongue, raspberries and blackberries race to the fore, followed by tart red cherry and aromatic black cherries, tailing off into lingering hints of pepper, clove and vanilla. Moderate tannins of leather well balanced with acid.
Very balanced, would pair well with a wide variety of foods. Pair with almost any meal - roasted vegetables, barbecued pork, grilled steak, fried chicken, or meat stews.
