2021 The Source | Paso Robles Willow Creek District

This Syrah pours a dark inky shade of blood red burgundy, with a purple meniscus in the glass. Inviting aromas of earthy barnyard, blackberries, dark cherries, with a hint of licorice, cloves and stem. Bold flavors of blackberry and cherry, backed with the heat of black pepper and eucalyptus, with licorice and clove returning to round out the adventure. Medium acidity, supported by rounded moderate tannins of leather.

Very delicious, lingering long on the palate with hints of jam and fruit. Try it with stronger tasting meats like grilled lamb and beef, or roast duck.
